A Word From Brother Andre'

We all know what a harvest is. It is a time of gathering the crops that have matured enough to be ready to eat or sell. Spiritually, a harvest is a time of gathering the souls that God has brought to Himself. It is a time of joining God in making disciples. As God brings revival to the hearts of His children, we will be in the correct mindset to join Him in the harvest. Our nation, our state, our church, you, and I are in need of a Holy Spirit revival. God has led me to lead our church into 30 Days of Prayer for Harvest leading up to our weekend Harvest Crusade August 3-5, 2012. Our primary focus needs to be on experiencing true revival personally and joining God in making disciples of those around us. This prayer guide is provided to help you prepare for both. Our first day of this prayer guide begins July 8 and continues through the day after our weekend Harvest Crusade ends August 6.

Before you begin

Each day is broken into three sections.

Section 1: A devotional written from the perspective of God the Father to His children

Section 2: Scripture verses that support the devotional*

Section 3: A short prayer to help begin your prayer time each day

There are also several major focuses we need to pray for every day:

  1. Pray for a Holy Spirit-led worldwide revival and harvest.
  2. Pray for our nation to experience revival and a harvest.
  3. Pray for our state to experience revival and a harvest.
  4. Pray for Grace to experience revival and a harvest.
    1. Pray for our pastor, André Dugger, and his wife Sarah and children.
    2. Pray for our ministerial staff team and their spouses and children: David and Debbie Harbison, Ken and Missi Coleman, Bruce and Leanne Cullom, Bonnie and Bill Brewer, and Rosalyn and Jim Green.
    3. Pray for our ministry assistants and their families: Mary Bradley, Jean Oster, and Joy Christianson.
    4. Pray for our deacons, Sunday School teachers, worship leaders, Grace University leaders, team members, and volunteers in every area.
    5. Pray for our evangelist Don Whitt as he prepares to lead our special weekend of harvest events and services. Also pray for Kelly Cash Sheppard as she prepares to speak to our ladies.
  5. Pray for your family to experience revival and a harvest.
  6. Pray for you to experience revival and a harvest.
    1. Ask God to break you.
    2. Ask God to reveal to you any unconfessed sin in your life and then repent of that sin.
    3. Ask God to give you a love for His Word and a desire to spend time daily studying it and meditating on it.
    4. Ask God to use you to be a blessing to the world by using you to share His good news both here at home and around the world.
    5. Ask God to speak to you concerning His desire for you, your family, and our Grace family.
  7. Pray for all those you know who are not saved:
    1. Family members: ________________________, _________________________, ____________________, _________________________, ____________________
    2. Friends: ________________________, _________________________, _____________________, _________________________, _____________________
    3. Neighbors : _______________________, _________________________, _____________________, _________________________, _____________________
    4. Co-Workers: _________________________, _________________________, _____________________, _________________________, _____________________
    5. Classmates : _______________________, _________________________, _____________________, _________________________, _____________________
    6. Teammates: ________________________, _________________________, _____________________, _________________________, _____________________

As you and I spend time each day in prayer for these areas and as we spend time in God’s Word, we will be in a position to see God bring revival to us and a harvest around us. Commit to spending these 30 days with a renewed focus on God and His Word, and we may see Him bless us with a personal and church revival that will forever change our church and us and lead to a renewed desire within us to join Him in the harvest.

**Be sure and use the comments feature at the end of each blog post to share how God is working in your life through these devotionals and to share names of friends and family members for whom you are praying.**

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit as He speaks to you during this special time.

I love you dearly,

André K. Dugger
