A Word From Brother Andre'

We all know what a harvest is. It is a time of gathering the crops that have matured enough to be ready to eat or sell. Spiritually, a harvest is a time of gathering the souls that God has brought to Himself. It is a time of joining God in making disciples. As God brings revival to the hearts of His children, we will be in the correct mindset to join Him in the harvest. Our nation, our state, our church, you, and I are in need of a Holy Spirit revival. God has led me to lead our church into 30 Days of Prayer for Harvest leading up to our weekend Harvest Crusade August 3-5, 2012. Our primary focus needs to be on experiencing true revival personally and joining God in making disciples of those around us. This prayer guide is provided to help you prepare for both. Our first day of this prayer guide begins July 8 and continues through the day after our weekend Harvest Crusade ends August 6.

Day 16: July 23, 2012

Whatever is distracting you from Me needs to be removed. It may be your television, radio, I-pod, computer, or it may even be a person; but if something or someone is keeping you from concentrating on Me as you US street sign stop sign clip artshould, you must avoid that distraction. In some cases you need to temporarily remove it, and in other cases you need to permanently remove it from your life. Some of the things that take your attention away from Me are not bad things—some of them may actually be good. The problem is they are not the best. Good things can be some of the most dangerous things in your life because you are tempted to settle for good and never know the best. So turn off whatever you need to turn off and spend time with Me. Let’s go on a walk together. Sing to Me. Listen to Me. Share your heart with Me. Simply be with Me.

Psalm 88:13

But I cry to you for help, O Lord; in the morning my prayer comes before you.

Mark 1:35

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

1 Thessalonians 5:17

Pray continually.

Dear God,prayer2

Please forgive me for allowing distractions to keep me from You. Help me to see the distractions I have the power to remove and help me remove them so I can be closer to You. Help me and all of Grace be focused on You and remain focused on You so we can experience the revival and awakening we need.

In Jesus’ name,
