A Word From Brother Andre'

We all know what a harvest is. It is a time of gathering the crops that have matured enough to be ready to eat or sell. Spiritually, a harvest is a time of gathering the souls that God has brought to Himself. It is a time of joining God in making disciples. As God brings revival to the hearts of His children, we will be in the correct mindset to join Him in the harvest. Our nation, our state, our church, you, and I are in need of a Holy Spirit revival. God has led me to lead our church into 30 Days of Prayer for Harvest leading up to our weekend Harvest Crusade August 3-5, 2012. Our primary focus needs to be on experiencing true revival personally and joining God in making disciples of those around us. This prayer guide is provided to help you prepare for both. Our first day of this prayer guide begins July 8 and continues through the day after our weekend Harvest Crusade ends August 6.

Day 3: July 10, 2012

On a hot dry day, few things, if any, satisfy your thirst like fresh, cold water. Whether it is a deer running through the fields on a hot summer day or you Satisfy thirstrunning through life and experiencing struggles and difficulties, nothing can quench thirst like good, pure water. I use the fresh, cool water of springs to comfort you and animals physically, and I use the fresh, cool water of My Spirit to refresh you and bless you spiritually. Many people understand the importance of physical refreshment, but few really understand the need for spiritual refreshment. I created you as a spiritual being who needs My spiritual refreshment each moment of every day. Come drink of Me and be refreshed!

John 4:14

John 7:38-39

Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him. By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

Dear God,

I desperately need You. I come running to You so that Your Spirit can refreshprayer2 me. Sin in my life keeps me from always being as close to You as I need to be. Apathy keeps me from experiencing all the great blessings You have in store for me. Change my heart, O God, I pray.

In Jesus’ name,
